Hey I just bought this z28 this past Sunday. Got a great price on it even though it needs a little work done to it.

Anyways I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the sound issue Ive been having. Its the standard Radio/cd player ( going to be replaced with my other head unit soon) and it had the Bose sound system in it.

I noticed when I first test drove the car, the radio didn't work. Well It turned on and everything, but I had no sound. Still got the car though, and going through salvage lots looking for the gas shocks for the trunk the speakers made a pop sound and the radio was working, and i was impressed with the sound quality for how old the car was. But today, the speakers decided to not produce any sound again. No sound, no static, no nothing.

Ive tried some minor searching on the topic but came up empty. Hoping someone here knew was the issue could be and save me a lot of time. And if you could, could you tell me/ point me to a website that has the information on what exactly the bose system has, ( speaker sizes, any small amps, wiring,)
