Ok i have a 94 camaro a4 z28. I am wanting heads and a cam. I know very little about heads and cams. I was something that hits hard at idle and gives me more torque. I want more acelleration from 0-60. What would my best bang for the buck be? Would i need a tune? Whats the best way to tune? What kind of horses would i look at? I currently have a c.a.i and knocked the guts out of mat cat

 

You can have the stock LT1 heads and intake ported and a matching cam selected to support up to 500 HP at the flywheel. That should provide everything you are looking for. Here's a couple of sources of the porting work/cam selection, and the price vs HP level:
