Is it realistic? probably not. The stock hood will not even close with the ramair box installed. You'd need to cut a large hole in it for the intake box and then fabricate a scoop. I'm also not sure if cutting the stock hood like that would allow enough structural integrity for the latch to hold properly.
If you are looking at making the fake vents functional, that is not possible. My brother and I tried last year to do it and the conclusion was that there was not enough room for the ducting without getting really close to the exhaust manifolds. Getting the ducting close to the manifolds would heat up the intake air and defeat the purpose. With the way the engine bay is cramped so tight it just was not possible. Also, how would the air get filtered? There would need to be an air tight seal between the hood and a airbox of some sort. There were just too many issues to make it work.
I ended up buying the SLP Ultra-Z setup.

Cool, thanks for the info. I've also been looking at getting that SLP Ultra-Z setup it looks really nice, but I wanted to see if I could give the stock hood a chance.

yeah my car's black... only prob with that is I'm in oklahoma.
I just looked at your camaro site and just have a question for you. Where did you get the T-Top conversion? We're going to be making my brothers camaro a T-Top but can't find anything on where to get parts etc...

i got it from fbodymotorsports, they took all the parts off a wrecked car, you can get it all from a junkyard...you will need the center bar, t-top mounts, the t-tops themselves, interior trim, and the t-top headliner...kinda scary cutting the roof off your car though..haha, good luck with it! if ya have any questions about it feel free to ask me
