Re: 75th anniversary t/a

Well, for it to be 75th anniversary, I believe it comes in two stages. One stage comes with a built in flux compasitor and upgraded electrical system, and the stage 2 comes with the very desirable flux compasitor cooler, thicker gauge wires, and a digital time era clock. Package price was 124,982$ ontop of original package price, and there were only 2 made in existance. One was wrecked when it ran into one of Jesus's encampments.

There is no such thing as a 75th anniversary Trans am. The highest they went was 30th, I believe.

Re: 75th anniversary t/a

Was it a badge to honor Pontiac's 75th Anniversary?

No kidding, when I clicked on this thread I figured it would be a way-off in the future car concept of someone who has way too much time on their hands. But yeah, could have been a Pontiac 75th item put on the car:

2001 was Pontiac's 75th Anniversary year. I suspect you could get the badges on most of the Pontiac vehicle lines in 2001. Iv'e seen people claim to have them before, on V6 Firebirds, Grand Prix's, etc.

Re: 75th anniversary t/a

haha yea i ment 75th anniversary pontiac emblems, a flux capacitor would be nice though, was this anything other than the 2 emblems on the fenders? if you go to kelly blue book and get a value for a 01 you can select the "75th anniversary package" it made it worth $500 more ( not in my eyes if its just emblems) but just want to know if there is anything else to it

To answer everyone's question.... It's in honor of Pontiac's 75th Anniversary. I own the 75th Anni Model with the badge on the side. It's real. Basicly it's a WS6 model with all the bells and whistles. Really, people need to do a little research before they open their mouths...

You realize you just bumped a 4 year old thread, right? By internet standards, this thread walked along side the dinosaurs.

This post on ls1tech would tend to contradict the recent post, indicating that the package was done on the Formula:
