Recently my car intermittently won't start. I got as far as metering for power at the 12 volt supply to the coils. Sometimes when I turn on the ignition there is no voltage at the 12 volt supply to the coil(only tested this one one cylinder). When cranking with the starter there is no firing heard. If I leave the ignition on long enough the coil will eventually power up, it takes up to about 45 seconds. I sometimes hear a clunking sound that seems to come from the drivers side somewhere in the dash before the power comes on at the coils. Runs rough at low RPM and jerks/surges a little. EFILIve shows P0300, P1133, P0135. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My 2000 Camaro SS just stated doing something similar -- I turn the ignition key and nothing. Try it again and it fires right up and runs fine. This has happened several times recently. I'm inclined to think the problem is either with ignition switch or the cut-out switch on the clutch (the clutch has to be on the floor before the engine will fire). Anyone else have any other ideas? The battery is relatively new.

My battery is less than a year old and it's auto so no clutch switch for me. I'm not sure what the VATS actually cuts to discourage theft but I'm gonna try my other key to see if there's any difference. The fuel pressure key on is 45 pounds and 60 running. According to Haynes this is slightly out of spec but would too high or low fuel pressure cause no spark? I have 2 extra O2 sensors so I'm changing them but I wouldn't think they would cause a no start. Then I'll try stabbing in the dark some more.
