1st time tonight.

I stoped tonight on the way home and reset my trip to zero. Wanted to see how fast from a dead stop to 1/4 mile I could get the car. Well taking off from a dead stop had to come out slow due to crap set of good ole Goodyear's on it, but still got it up to 97 MPH. Can't wait till I put in the 4.10's and drag radials on it and put it on the track!

And you did that by interpolating the 1/10ths of a mile on the odometer?

I reset the trip to zero and watched till it clicked 2.5 on it= 1320 ft. I didn't think that was to bad for a stock car with crap tires on it.

The trip odometer... at least the one in my 94 Formula... is calibrated in 1/10th's, not the 1/100th's required to (semi) accurately establish that you have gone exactly [/b]0.25[/b] miles or 1,320-ft. Additionally, the MPH recorded on a drag strip is the average over the last 60-ft, not at 1,320-ft.

I doubt your results are anywhere near accurate.

Well if you figure it take 10th part of the trip to go around 10 times per mile. Ok then take and knock it down into 1/4's that would be 2.5 . It's close enough for base line. I was only going for speed not time. Also my buddy has one of those G-timers things and we tested it again last night... wow again 96 mph. Not sure what the time was my buddy was watching the machine not me. He forgot to tell me the time. will have to try it again.

Take it to the track. The G-Tech's are notoriously inaccurate.
