1999 Trans am with working Temp gauge?
1999 Trans am with working Temp gauge?
So I just purchased a mint 1999 Trans am that was garaged its entire life and has 41k miles on it.
It was a florida car and appears to have been pampered, which leads me to doubt it'd have been tinkered with in any manner. The engine looks like the day it did in 1999. Brand new.
The build date is 04/99 so that explains the old style steering wheel buttons with the finger indentations. Since they were listed as a mid year change/
What I don't get though is how is my temp gauge actually working? It's not a dummy gauge like the 99-02's are supposed to be. It actually has activity between 100-210 degrees.
Was this a mid year change in 1999? Or has someone done something to make it a functioning gauge and not just a dummy?
