Anyone know where the wire "goes" that connects to the '97 LT1 AIR pump? I just bought this Z, and the AIR pump was removed, and the wire that connects to it is no where to be found. Anyone know where this wire would normally connect in to in the wiring harness? I cant find any signs of it, but Im not certain where to look either. I bought a new pigtail for the air pump, just need to know where to connect it

The AIR pump relay is in the under hood convenience box. The wiring harness comes out of the bottom of the box (in a large diameter bundle with other wires) and runs (if I remember where mine was before I unplugged it) under the ABS motor assembly. When I unplugged mine, I pushed the harness connector up under the ABS motor assembly, out of sight. It will be a 3-pin connector, with 2 red wires and a black wire. The connector has a purple gasket.

So i found where I think this connector came from - its just behind the ABS motor assembly - but the wires have been cut. I have 3 red wires, and 2 black wires. I believe this is what I am after. I think 2 red and 1 black are for the air pump, and 1 red and 1 black are for the air pump bleeder solenoid thing (that I am not reinstalling) I'm not sure which of the 3 red wires and 2 black wires I need to use for the air pump though.... but it doesnt matter.

This is for "looks" anyway, unfortunately. It'll look legit but will never turn on since the previous owner had it programmed out.
