So I pulled my car outta storage and am fixing all the little things wrong with it. The ebrake has no tension and doesnt work. I pulled off the console and here is what I found.

Anyone know how to re-attach this or where it even goes?

That looks like the cable that connects the parking brake to the wheels. The end looks broke. My guess is that it wraps under the gear/pulley thing with the 3 small holes and attaches at the top. It probably snaped and the other part fell below. I'd say it needs a new cable.
