1995 camaro z28 overheating issue
So car has new waterpump, fans have been hooked up to overdrive constantly, and it only takes 16 minutes to overheat, radiator isnt clogged, i have to bleed the system alot for some reason, car runs great when it gets to 250, i can rev the car up to 3k and it goes down a little but then it just climbs, but when i let it idle, it just goes up like a summer walk, ive even turned the heat on while at 250 but nothing will keep it from going to red zone, is it a headgasket? they were checked not so long ago and they were good, need help please.
Re: 1995 camaro z28 overheating issue
Could be a head gasket. Do you get a lot of bubbling with the cap off the radiator?
Could possibly be a failed driveshaft on the water pump. Do you see circulation with the cap off?
How were head gaskets “checked”? Might want to test radiator for hydrocarbons if that wasn’t how gaskets were checked.
