Can someone please tell me what each wire does for both the front right, and front left turn signals on my 1995 Camaro Z28? I need to know which color is the blinker and which color is the running light. Guessing ground is black.
Reason I ask is I have converted all my bulbs to LED. For the rear blinkers/brake I had to splice in a resistor (seen below). The rears worked great with the added resistor. Now I have to splice the same resistor into the front turn signal wiring so the bulbs don’t get stuck ON while turn signal is active. (Right now they get stuck)
There seems to be a ton of conflicting information regarding how to get all leds to work correctly in my car, but for now I’m just going to try adding the same resistors I used on the rear. If that doesn’t work I’ll try replacing the flasher relay.
For now please let me know the color coding for both front blinkers. Thanks for your help!
I did but had trouble deciphering the color codes for the signals. Ended up installing a new flasher relay seen below so I didn’t have to splice the resistor into the existing wiring. The relay seems to have done the job!
Just to update everyone again, ignore my previous post as the hyper flash happened again after installing the front LEDs. I ended up using 4 total EL12 resistors (2 front and 2 for back) and that fixed everything. So if you ever plan to replace all the light bulbs on your 93-97 Camaro including blinkers with LEDs you will want to buy the EL12 resistors. Don’t get the relay I mentioned. They are only 6.99 on Amazon for a set of 2.
