OR wired their radar under there dash...
what did you tap into. For example, I want my radar and obviously (sp) my fans to come on when the car is started, so what do i need to tap into so i can run the hot wires from each to make it work

i tapped my fans into my cig lighter i think....removed the lighter anyway and put the switch there.
that way i can run the fans when the car is off.
just gotta not forget and run the battery down.
you could tap into the radio, that way the fans will work if the ignition is turned on, but after a while they will turn of like the radio does.

There's a switched and an unswitched connection on the fuse box at the end of the dash. The switched one is a spade connector labeled "IGN". See where the orange wire is attached in the photo (I think the 94 Camaro fuse box is installed upside down compared to the 94 Firebird box
). There is a limit to how much power you can pull off the connection, since its protected by the adjacent 15A fuse (mine's been changed to a 20A in the photo). Use the power source to activate a relay, do not wire the fans directly to any small gauge wire power source.
