12V from headlight switch - Shoebox
I'm wiring up an aftermarket tach, and I need to know which wire is 12V on the headlight switch connector. I believe it is the fatter red wire. Any help is appreciated.

Red to the headlight switch would be hot at all times. You might consider using one of the accy or ign spare terminals in the fuse panel. Those would only be hot with the key on.
