I'm putting a pump in a kids car but didn't know if I should just go GM or if there are others that are just as good. The car is a stock 1997 LT1 firebird. What do you guys use?

I haven't replaced mine yet, although I have problems which may end up in me doing so, anyway I have read a lot of threads and I read GM STOCK is the best option...no aftermarket off-brands

I think it was walbro...whatever it was there was two brands and some people even said it had another brand name on the other side....I suggest trying a search of the forums for "fuel pump".... keep in mind sometimes it may be user error...

another option...to look for... a DOOR to access the fuel pump in the future... I have a convertible which makes me say NO to a fuel pump door but if I had a coupe I would cut a door so I didn't have to drop the tank again!
