Troubleshooting suggestions no fuel bank 2

Hi you'all

I'll just done a LT1 97 swap and now the it wont fire up.

If I push the trottle it fires up bank 1 side, but not the bank 2

what I allready have done:

Spark on all cylinder - NO fuel at all on the sparkplugs bank 2

Fuel pressure 40-42psi

Ground on bank 2 injectors OK

12 ohm on all injectors

Headers /no cats - O2 sensor shifted from bank 1 to bank 2 - NO change (same signal/volt at the pins)

VATS deactivated in the PCM

MAF do messure when start/crank

Opti - MSD

All emission removed from PCM ( EGR and so on )

Is there any sensor besides O2 that can cut the injectors on bank 2?

Do any of you have an idea what could cause the missing fuel on bank 2?

No fault in the PCM regarding til the missing fuel.

Ground on bank 2 injectors OK - meaning ground to the PCM
12v is also okay to the injectors - bank 2

How did you verify the PCM is providing the ground to fire all the injectors - ‘noid light?

no i rewire ground from PCM to battery - tryed it on both bank 1 and 2.
still same problem
I havent tryed every injectors with a noid light.

I have read alot about O2 problems - I'll try a new one tomorrow and also try what you said with a homemade noid light (10 - 12 W)

Just curious... what vehicle did you put the LT1 in?

O2 sensor problems should not shut down the fuel injectors. Misfire detection may disable an injector to protect the cat.

Did your scan pick up any codes related to the fuel injector drivers (P0200, P1222)?

I'm assuming you verified 12 VOLTS, key on, on the pink wire at each injector harness connector.

The injectors are supplied 12 volts by two fuses, 4 injectors on each circuit. But each circuit supplies two injectors on bank 1 and 2 injectors on bank 2. If the injectors on one bank aren't pulsing, all they have in common is the ground supplied to each individual injector by a "driver" in the PCM. There is an individual driver for each injector, but I have no idea how they are interconnected within the PCM

Re: Troubleshooting suggestions no fuel bank 2

Hi

fund the problem today

First I pull of the fuelrail - dirt in the system what an idiot who sold me the engine, he dident seal the fuel pipes.
Second 3 out of 4 injectors is bad - 12 ohm but they still do not open. The last injector started to work after cleaning the rail and all injectors.
So now I'll will order 8 new injectors - what do I order BOSCH or? and how many lbs? the engine is 384 with a little higher compressio og a hotcam.

The "noid light" was a very good idea saved me a lot of time

I'll put the engine in a chevelle 72 for street and fun
I got the car cheap and it was in a real bad shape.
The project is now about 80% finish - think I can put it on the street i the nearest future and do some smoking tires

There are some decisions to be made here. If the engine is already tuned for everything done, you will want to order the same size injectors that are on the engine to keep the tune consistent. If it is not tuned, you will want to size the injectors to your desired power level.
