Question Is there a write up for changing out the fuel pump?

Ive searched but cant find ****. I know you either have to drop the rear end or cut a hole in the back to change it out, and I would like to cut the whole to get to it.

Where can I find a write up for this? Will it be any different in my car since its a convertible?

I know two people who had the trap door method done for bad sending units. One was on a '98 and one on a '00 - tanks are different so use a guide for a '98 when cutting. LS2.com has a '98 writeup, but not a vert - don't think it would be different.

Found the link I was thinking of, maybe it'll help. I'd make absoultely sure it's the pump before using either method. http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread...hreadid=460724 Good luck.

This isn't an engine tech question. I'm going to move it to an appropriate forum.
