Stock Line to AN Adapter Fitting
Stock Line to AN Adapter Fitting
I'm changing my fuel system to dual walbro pumps with a parallel setup in the engine bay. I've done a lot of reading / searching on here but couldn't quite find the answer to my question.
I just want to convert the black rubber (or plastic) lines that come into the engine bay to steel braided lines with -AN fittings. The stock soft lines connect to stock metal lines under the car on the driverside a little behind the front wheel. What type of fittings can do I need to adapt the metal tube lines to -AN fittings?
I was looking on summit and saw the Earl fittings (EAR-165106ERL), but when i called summit and told them what I wanted to do they gave me part numbers for the Aeroquip AN tube Sleeves and matching AN tube nuts (AER-FBM3675). Which type am I supposed to use?
Ideally I would like the 3/8" feed line to convert to a -8 and the 5/16" return convert to a -6.
Also the stock hard lines are made of aluminum and not steel correct?
Thanks for your help!

I used these two when i converted my fuel lines from under the driver side to braided lines on my 97 Z28. EAR-165006ERL and EAR-165056ERL. You will need two of each. One for under the car and for the fuel rail. These are both for a -6AN line. If you are wanting to go -8AN, i don't have that part number.
I should only need two because I have -8AN fittings welded onto both ends of my fuel rails. Thanks for the confirmation tho. I just wanted to make sure those were the fittings that I need to use to adapt the hard fuel lines to -AN fittings.
