Angry STILL stuttering and skipping....

My 95 Z28 is STILL skipping and stuttering. I have changed the plugs, wires, distributor and fuel filter. I've also have had diagnostic checks with scanners, fuel pump tests, the egr checked etc... Still I've had no luck figuring out the exact problem is. This started about a year ago. Sometimes it runs problem free and then sometimes it run's really bad. High and low rpms. The passed few weeks have been up and down. It will skip and stutter one day, and then seem race ready the next. The engine was replaced with a new LT1 back in June of 2003. So the engine itself has about 60 or 70000 miles on it. Any feedback will be GREATLY appreciated.

Does the problem increase on damp days? Does it correlate to ambient temperature at all (e.g. - worse when cold)? Have you checked the Opti harness connectors (there are two of them) for corrosion and/or damaged pins?

When it was scanned, were you just looking for codes? Or did you do a data log? If you did a data log, do you still have it?

Ive had my mechanic check the opti harness and connectors and said that they looked fine. What about the map sensor?? What does that control? My friend works for a race shop and he checked it with 2 or 3 different scanners. It wasn't throwing any codes. It also doesn't really matter whether it's damp or dry outside. It does it in both types of weather.
