starting problems

>hi all,
well let describe what I've done...
I have a 1994 LT1 with a stock Opti (new), MSD 6AL with timing advance
and coil, new Taylor wires and NGK plugs.
The engine is bored/stroked to 396 and there is a Vortech T-trim.
I put a brand new Optima yellow top and I still need a jump start box to get the car started.
any ideas???

I had the exact same problem after relocating my battery to the trunk. I ended up adding a large braided ground cable from the body to the engine block, fixed the problem right away. Where are you connecting your negative leads from your battery?

Appears to be a battery wiring problem... not fuel or ignition. What gage wire did you use to run to the back of the car? Did you run both the red wires that normally attach to the battery to the back?
