Or will stock work?

Finally decided to get my car running again and pulled the tank. The new pump (walbro f20000169) did not come with anything other than itself...

Do I need some sort of high flow pickup filter, or will stock be ok to use?

Thanks for the link but was hoping to get this thing running today or over the weekend so was hoping local parts would work.

 

You need to use a fuel pump bucket sock. The pump needs some kind of protection.
