Solenoid or Starter?

Hey guys whats up? I just replaced the Fuel Filter on my camaro and it runs smooth, no more sputtering when I hit the gas....

Now heres another problem:

Whenever I try to start the engine all I hear is a clicking noise and it clicks once, it doesnt try to turn over it just kind of clicks and then you try again and it will start with no problem after a couple of times of the clicking sound....

It has a new battery in it so I eliminated that possibility and I figured it be the starter but then it doesnt have trouble starting, So Im thinking either Solenoid or Battery cable terminals....

Anybody know what this may be?

It sonds like a bad connection I would check for burnt spots on the starter wires and the battery cables. Check for corroision and also make sure the connection is good and tight
