Search for help on a 2000 Z28 camaro fuel pump replacement

I am sorry, but I can not seem to find any help with a search (may be looking in wrong way or place) on how to get to the fuel pump on my 2000 z28. Is it in the "top" of the tank? Not much room when I lift the back window hatch up and carpet is fastened down fairly good and do not want to explore around until I am fairly sure what I am doing. I did see a video of someone who had to cut an access hole bigger to get to his but it was an earlier model than 2000. Looks like pulling the tank is a real major project.
Can someone please help me out.

Thanks and Have a Great Day,
JRAQUEL

yes, it is in the top of the tank. Two methods - by the book, you remove the exhaust and drop the tank or else you have to cut an access panel and go that route.

Thanks Kevin.
So there is no access hole there at all? Not even a small one? Just have to cut one? Is the pump basically in the center of the "hump"?

There is no access port of any kind - just solid sheet metal. On the "topic" listing page of this forum, at the top are "stickies".... the answers to frequently asked questions. One of them tells how to access the pump on a 99. Yours will be identical:

Another question.

Does this 2000 camero have a "reset" switch for the fuel pump? Seems like I remember where some cars do or did have a reset switch.

Thanks
