Which Racetronix set-up?

I am getting ready to get a racetronix pump, and was looking on thunderracings site. There is a $250 and $160 and $90 one. I am trying to decide between the $160 and $250 kit. I plan on running a comp 306 cam along with my n20 set-up i currently have. Heres a link to it. I am unsure as to whether I need the extra stuff in the $250 kit or not.

The $90 is for the harness. $250 pump includes the harness. The advantage of the harness is that it connects to the alternator to ensure the pump has full voltage. The harness also has an option to add a boost-a-pump which you may not need.

I would just get the pump, I have not seen enough postive feedback on the harness to justify the additional cost.

This all depends on your HP requirements. The harness will provide an apx. 15-20% output gain under WOT. Just enough is not enough. You always require a safety margin.

question is will just the pump alone come with a plug and play harness to connect it to the stock wiring so its just pop it in the tank and plug in the harness or is the other harness needed? im interested in this because i want to place a order soon and want to make sure i have everything i need for a smooth setup.

The pump assembly (FLT1-FPA) comes with new in-tank wiring and is complete and ready to install. The external harness has nothing to do with the installation of the pump assembly.

thanks for the quick response. I dont need the extra power so i only need the pump then it seems. Just wanted to make sure cause i hate starting a project and needing a simple part and having to wait 1-2 weeks or more for a part to ship and etc. hehe
