That p1351 icm code help please

Short background--I got to the guardshack at work, hit the speed bump as usual--car started to sputter and misfire , ses light flashing, barely made it to the parking lot before it died- 12 hours later, car starts ok , then about 10 minutes later it dies on the road as if i turned off the key. Waited about 15 minutes, starts, got home sputtering-- stepson pulls the codes and they were for the opti, coil and the icm--decided to throw parts at it and got a cheap coil and a icm from Oreilys--turns out it was my Jegs opti must have busted loose--got a AC/Delco now but still have the p 1351 code--icm--any ideas what may have gotten loose when i hit that speed bump? And yes sir i did the search feature and nobody hit a bump first-if that caused it--Thanks in advance. Dwayne

Could be the white wire from the PCM to the IC Module. Could be the 12V power wire from the coil to the IC Module. Could be a faulty ground. Start with the connectors on the IC Module and the coil. Check the "A" (red) connector on the PCM.

Did you use heat transfer grease under the ICM?

Thanks shoebox--If i remember correctly i put the three ground straps on the right side bolt and screwed it into the head-put the other bolt into the head then mounted the coil assembly on the top of those bolts-that bracket next to the intake is what got me flustered, saying i got the coil mounted right--then i just used the other nuts to lock it all down--just doesnt feel right to me. I used the grease provided with the ICM. The coil assembly is about an inch or so from the head. Thanks Dwayne
