Unhappy Opti Spark Problem

Hey Guys - I'm building a '94 Z-28 with a slightly modified LT-1
I have the engine back in the car and mostly hooked back up - I noticed that the coil wire port of my opti-spark distributor doesn't look quite right - as I look down the barrel - I just see a small post - not as big as a spark plug - sorta looks like a Schrader valve on a tire. Doesn't look like anything you could hook a coil wire to - I purchased the cap from Jegs back some time ago, and never thought to examine it that closely - someone please tell me I'm not gonna have to take the water pump and crank pulley back off...
anyone ever see anything like this?

Re: Opti Spark Problem

You need "Optispark" specific boots and terminals for the wires. Do you have them? Can't us a generic wire set.

Example:
