O2's reading .004 while cruising. Bad?
I ran a datalog and when i just keep the car at one speed for a while my O2's will go to .004 for both sides for 3-5 seconds. I am wondering what this means and it is a problem. The car feels like it is starving for gas and if i give it a tiny bit it will bog and then once i raise the rpm's more it will jump real fast.
4mV means the fuel is shut off. The PCM shuts the fuel down for a period on closed throttle decel. Perhaps by trying to hold the car at a steady speed, you are alternating between a slight accell and a slight decel.
I checked it again and during deceleration it shows lower numbers between 100-700 but only during a steady cruise will it do that. It appears the car shuts the fuel off only then but it would make since that it would do it while slowing and not maintaining a speed since i have my foot on the gas a little.
