My battery relocation wiring diagram, and pics

My question is this. The optima battery is not a "dry cell" battery (which sucks cause that's what I purchased). If the battery is not enclosed in a sealed box will tech turn you away at inspection. The bmr looks great and everything but not if it wont pass tech. Also, what are you guys doing about the coolent resevior that was orignally mounted underneath of the battery tray. Did you retain it some how or mount a new one else where?

I took my stock tank out and out a polished tank in there that I got from summit. as far as tech it depends, yes they probably could fail you but most places arnt going to make you pull a panel to look for a box, I know a lot of people that use diffrent brackets that run at the track and they never looked behind panels. now if your running under 10.0 that would be diffrent, they start to get really picky about cars that fast. its up to you, Im going to try mine and see if they see mine.

Oops got that from jegs
part # 555-51146 is what I got. theres tons of them out there I just found that farly cheep and got it. you can still use your stock tank if you want to but I have other plans for the room where that tank was at.
