LT4 injector replacements

Well, I was trying to order a set of 8 LT4 injectors (3.5gps, 28#)
However, RMS tells me they are currently discontinued, and he can only get a hold of 3 for me.
Sooo... rather than risk having a mixed set of injectors, what would be a different alternative?
I've heard bad things about certain brands, so thats why I wanted to stay OEM

Ford Racing SVO 30 lbs./hr. Injectors

Venom HP-630-8 30-lb. fuel injectors high impedance set of 8

Accel 150830 Performance Fuel Injectors 30 lbs/hr 8/pkg

don't seem as though 28# is a popular size, would 30 be okay? I've read in other threads, that larger injectors make it difficult for the PCM to deliver small amounts of fuel(idle).

Doesn't seem appropriate to go to 26# so, 30 seems to be the appropriate upgrade?

I've heard bad things about Accel, I havent heard anything about venom, but a lot of people seem to like the Ford SVO... just looking for advice/suggestions.

Are you sure you even have an LT4, that you have LT4 injectors currently, and that the PCM is tuned for 28 #/HR injectors. As I recall from earlier posts, all you really knew was it has a red intake manifold, and the guy you bought it from told you it was an LT4 with a complete Corvetter drivetrain??????

I really started off on a poor foot with you on this car... And I appreciate your advice dearly.

It is tunes at 24.91 currently, you are correct in remembering that I had boosted it to 28.91, but the engine lost power and always smelled of unburnt fuel (probably since i'm in open cycle always)

The reason I want to replace my injectors is to be certain what's actually in the car... the more i dig the more i find the car was found in a junkyard 2 owners ago... and the owner erased all forum conversations he'd had trying to get it back and running...

The car performs much better than an lt1, my previous stock lt1 was strong, but the rpm range on this engine is light years different... pulls hard past 6000 rpms, where as my lt1 started to struggle around 55-56

Could be that it only has a painted manifold and an lt4 hotcam.

anything is possible... however, the credibility of my engine is not the question being asked...

I am merely looking for recommendations on injectors, I mentioned that some threads seem to be non-favorable to the accel product.

Do you have a shop near you that can flow the injectors? Otherwise, provided you have the ability to reprogram the PCM just use any standard high impedance injectors that have a ballpark flow rate.

First, figure out what size inectors you need. I have one method posted in the "sticky" at the top of the topics page. Going larger than you need will not hurt you, as long as you don't get crazy. There are people running 42 #/HR injectors on the stock PCM, without problems at idle.

The SVO injectors are reliable and cheap. You do need to multiply the flow rating by 1.054 to compensate for the fact that the SVO's are flow rated at 2.7bar (39.15psi) and your LT1/LT4 should be running at 3.0bar (43.5psi). So... a 30 #/HR SVO would be programmed at 31.6 #/HR. That will support 450 HP at the flywheel, assuming you don't want to exceed 85% duty cycle, and can achieve a efficient tune with a brake specific fuel consumption of no more than 0.476 #/HR/HP.

I don't know the actual flywheel HP of your engine, but I doubt you would need anything larger than the SVO 30's.
