LT1 Fuel Pump Prime Connector...... where does it go? What does it go to?

Alright, I am wiring up a 98 LS1 into my 96 Z28, I noticed the fuel pump prime connector pictured is in the LT1 harness, where exactly does it go? It doesnt connect to anything in the engine bay? or does it? Is it just a way to jump the fuel pump for testing or to pressurize? Does it come from the connector C210 under the dash up to where it is pictured and dead ends? If so, to make my fuel pump work, could I just run ignition (key on) voltage to this wire so that when I turn on the key the fuel pump comes on. Relay is hooked up already. Thanks

It is a test connector and normally is not connected to anything. You jump 12v to it to run the pump.

Shoebox has all the connector locations and faces on his website. C210 is in the passenger side kick panel. Use the tabs at the bottom of this page to select the connector you want to look at:

http://shbox.com/1/harness_connector_faces.htm

If you want to add another fuel pump, and have it come on at the same time as the stock pump, there is another way to wire it up. Put the relay for the new fuel pump in the back. For the "signal" wire to turn on the pump, simply splice into the gray wire for the fuel pump, near the connector/harness that runs over the rear axle. Ground the relay to the frame. That way when the relay sends 12V power to the stock pump, the splice into the gray wire switches the new relay to "on".

Go to page 17 of the NOS install instructions for the 5176 kit, for a diagram:
