LT1 Fuel Pump

can the oil pressure sending unit not working properly effect the fuel pump?

The wiring diagram for the 94+ fuel pumps does not show any interface to the oil pressure sensor. The oil pressure sensor does not connect to the PCM. So its hard to see how the oil pressure switch could affect the fuel pump (I know Corvettes are different, and someone claimed their 93 has in interlock between the oil pressure sensor and the fuel pump).
