LS1 is acting up, I'm thinking fuel?

Many high HP LS1 systems convert to the full recirculation rails, with the pressure regulator after the rails, because it provide a much more uniform pressure in the system.
I read this, searching for an answer to how many feet i will need in order to run -6 lines from the filter to the rails and return on the LT1, and it seemed to account for my weird hesatations my car is giving me. It only seems to happen when i'm lightly accelerating or cruising and I very gradually accelerate like a grandma (hey i drive mine like a grandma). When I step on gradually (not a swift downward foot motion but pressure) while it hesitates like that it will bog down and i might as well not be accelerating. the weird part is when I tromp it if there is bogging, or i pump the pedal a bit up and down, it snaps out of it and I have full power again. (lol then my clutch slips because of the power jolt) I first thought spark plugs and they did look gross, but I just replaced them trying to fix the problem.

Do you think I need to upgrade to a parallel feed then out to a regulator then to tank?

That would seem to be more of a programming issue, contolling throttle "tip in". Problems with the dead-end fuel system, in high HP applications, will show up when there is high fuel demand, not at low RPM/partial throttle conditions.
