just got done installing my dual intank fuel pumps!!

took us 2 evenings taking our time, and i got all the directions from hardlines to wiring off the threads here at cz28 and a couple hints from ls1tech.

heres the parts list for those that are looking to do this project as not 1 post has the exact parts needed.

Y fitting is a solid brass air compressor splitter it is 1 in 3 out all ports are 1/4 NPT cost under $5.00

you also need 3 1/4NPT 3/8 barb fittings and a 1/4NPT plug. cost under $8.00

3/8 rubber fuel line cost $2.00

6 3/8 hose clamps cost 4.00

1 3 inch clamp and 1 3.5 clamp cost 2.00 or less

10awg primary wire cost 6.00

14awg wire cost 3.00 for a spool

random connectors cost about 2.00

30amp relay 3.00

hobbs switch (for boosted cars) i think i paid 15 dollars off ebay

pack of rubber gromets 2.00

so the cost isnt too bad

Your $2 rubber fuel line is going to dissolve.

it is good year brand line, i researched it and asked tons of people if it would last... i was told it would be ok, it is the same quality line as the lines that have been in my gas tank submerged in fuel for 12 years.

My rubber hose swelled and popped off.
So I used fuel injection hose with a blue plastic inner liner, no issues.

I use -6 (3/8) AeroQuip socketless hose. Available from Summitracing.com It does not fit the pump output fitting, but, a good SS hose clamp for radial clamp load, and wire retension rig for axial flow loads has worked for 5 years now. Also, I re-engineered the tank bulk-head plate to use -an fittings everywhere on a dual pump set-up. The -an fittings allow easy disassembly if you need dis-assembly and pump sender access/ removal. Also, the AeroQuip socketless hose is teflon lined for low friction fuel flow. HTH. B.
