Well I installed my racetronix fuel pump kit today. So the problem is I thought this thing was supposed to plug and play with the wiring. I noticed on the new harness that came with the new fuel pump it did not have a pink wire coming off the harness the old one did. I should have stopped there, but I figured that if it didn't have I didn't need it anymore (Dumb idea). So now my fuel gauge is pegged beyond the F all the time and does not move. I'm sure this wire is the culprit what can I do? I know I will need to take the pump back out, but how do I get that wire on there?

 

IIRC, you have to move that wire using the paper clip. The How To is in the instructions. They don't supply that wire with the kit, IDK why not.

 

oh thanks I didn't have the instructions I had ordered this about a year ago and lost them thanks for the help that shouldn't take long to do.
