I am getting parts together for my LE 2 head, cam package and wanted to know what size and brand are the best?
Also what throttle bodies are good?

 

Lloyd recommends the injector size for each level heads/cam package right on his website. Are you looking for something different that what he recommends? Delphi, FMS, SVO, Bosch, Denso, Lucas are all good. The only injector that seems to get bad reviews are the Accels, and they are just made by someone else and relabeled.

 

I want to get exactly what I need to support it. I am just very unknowlegable about good/bad products. I want to get parts together before I take my car apart

 

As mentioned above, Lloyd specifically recommends what should be used with his different setups. This is directly from his site: "Head/cam package will pull from 2,300 to 6,500 RPM and should make *400 - 420 RWHP with 30/36 lb. injectors, 58 MM T.B., 1 ¾ LT’s, no cats, good tuning, etc. This will have an idle similar to the CC306 cam but will make more HP & TQ across the board. The REAL difference is the amount TQ this cam makes in the 2,500 – 3,500 RPM range compared to the cc306." As for TB brand, there are several good ones to choose from: Edelbrock, Holley, AS&M, ect.

I hear mainly bads but some goods about Holley and AS&M, I love the look of both and quality looks to def be there but what gives. Why are there so many problems, are they updated now?
