Injector help/question

I sent my fuel injectors to a place to have them sonic cleaned and flow tested and UPS has lost them!!!!!!! So, if I have to buy new ones is the only thing I need to match the 36#? - The ones I had were 36# Accell's. Will any 36#'s work?? what about resistance???

You'll want them all to be identical, with regard to electrical resistance, fuel flow rating, open/close speed and sensitivity to system voltage (offset), etc. Other than using 8 identical brand/part # injectors, its hard to see how you could accomplish that. You should also have the replacement injector flow tested to see how close it matches the other 7.

I might not have been clear enough. I sent all 8 of them off and UPS lost them somewhere in Dallas/Ft.Worth. My car is dyno tuned for 36# injectors and had the Accells on when it was tuned. I am going to have to buy 8 new ones. Will any make work as long as it is 36#??? I found some SVO's and thought I might get them but I want to make sure they will work OK.

I think you'll need a retune in order to use the Ford injectors because of a different fuel pressure rating. Go with Delphi/Siemens.

I just got an email from Jeff Chreech of Carolina Auto Masters - who did the original tune - and he said all I would have to do is put the SVO's in and I would be good to go. I hope he's right!

The difference is very small. I think it will be fine without re-tuning.

Ignore my comments.... I missed the point of your post, and thought you were looking to replace only the missing injector.
