Increasing fuel pressure
It would certainly be tuned for it. I was curious what was wrong with 60psi(just a theoreticall number) on stocker or svo's. Seems like a cheaper means to the same end if there is nothing more to it...
I beleive that if you increase the fuel pressure, the computer will shorten the injectors pulse width to match to how it was tuned. I'm not sure that it will do this for full throttle, but I think on part throttle it will so this. I think Injuneer knows a bit about this.
With the adjustable fuel pressure regulators on the LTs, most people set the pressure between 43 and 46 PSI with the vacuum controller disconnected. As I understand it, if the pressure is kept within that range (43-46) no change in programming is required.

There is nothing at all wrong with 60psi on a pintle type injector. They do not have a problem with higher pressure like some other types. I run 58psi (4 bar) on my Bosch injectors.
