Ignition amps?

So will they really help burn more of the gas and truly increase power? Of course since the new motor there is a strong gas smell. I know you can't really do much about that with the cam and overlap, but I would like to burn more of the gas that seems to escape through the exhaust. I was thinking something like the MSD 6AL.

The box will only make a difference on a boisted or very high compression/high rpm motor. Sounds like you need a tune, not an MSD.

I would say the motor is fairly high compression with the heads that Lloyd did for me and the cam. New 4.030 Federal Mogul pistons that advertise a 10.4:1 with 58.22cc heads so mine might be a bit more but those number might be generic. Not real high. I have wondered about having the tune tweaked a bit more. Ion @ MadZ28 did mine.

"High" in this context is in the 14:1 range.

Yeah that is way beyond what I have. I emailed Ion to see what he might be able to do for me. Maybe a reflash will help out. A dyno tune is out of the question right now because of major time constraints. Thanks for the info.
