you need a new relay.
my car(s) shut off and i wiggled the relay and it fires back up. i have 2 camaro's...... i wash my motor all the time and dont cover anything so water gets in the relays sometimes lol. the relay is in the fuse box in the driver side front, right behind the headlight...

I can hear mine running in the tank so i assume your is the same way. Have someone turn the key to the on position and have someone else listen down by the tank. When i replaced the pump with a aftermarket one it made a noise but it sounded completely different and was a lot quieter. How much fuel pressure are you getting at the schrader valve? It might take a lot of key cycles to get the fuel to the injectors if the fuel line was dry. There is also the possibiltiy your gauge is broke and you really are out if fuel.

I just finish messing with the car. my line with the letter r that's on the pump has gas coming back through the it where it connect. it seems like the line is block or something is not working I don't no if the regulator is bad. does anyone have the diagram the fuel system from tank to the front for 2000 z28.

The fuel system in the F-Body LS1's is a "dead end" system, with only a single line running forward to the engine/fuell rails. There is no return line from the engine. The bypass style pressure regulator will either be in the tank, or in the filter. Take a look at the fuel filter and see if there is a return line.

Maybe someone with an LS1 could verify the pressure regulator location.
