Hard start at way lower elevation

I went from Elevation: 5,066 FT to Sac. California Elevation: 25 FT

i had this issue last time i went here in sac too.

My car here (just here, in 5000 ft my car starts on a dime) starts very hard here. Almost like draining the battery completly before starting. Runs perfect...just starting hard when at this alt. I have C.A.T.S and TTS and all that...what do i need to change for down here?..Or should I pull fusses to "restart" the PCM?
here for 7 days...want to take it to a "track"...but idk where one is here :P

Note: starts hard only when warm/hot/was just running....if "cold" it starts fine..?

Noticed the other day that in this pic, the PCV valve is connected w/ a hose to the "to opti" nipple on the engine....? lol

I think im getting false knock retard from the exhaust vibrating on the exhause cross member...need to fix that and get an lt4 km

Are you still running on the tank of fuel you bought at the higher elevation? Typically, high altitude fuel is blended to a lower vapor pressure. When you run that fuel at a lower elevation, its isn't going to vaporize as well as it does at a higher elevation.

When it takes a lot of cranking to get it to start - warm only - will it start faster if you hold the accel pedal on the floor and put it in "clear flood" mode?

The Shoebox photo of the vacuum connections is for a 95 (and later). In 93/94, the PCV valve is connected to the nipple as you described, with a short U-shaped hose. If you added an MSD cap/rotor, where did you connect your Opti vent?

This is my 94 with the PCV in connected in the stock 94 location, and the Opti vent for my vented Opti conversion "tee'd" into the vacuum port for the EGR vacuum line:

Iv filled up here allready, so no, not same fuel. Definatly weird/nice info tho!

I dont know about the "clear flood" mode due to me knowing it will start...just takes it like 5 sec. lol. Its weird because down at 5000 it starts on a dime like iv said before.

Opti vent is exactually like yours.

Also, maybe not so off topic as i think, but..
When in gear but stoped, like at a stop light. I will watch the Bat guage go up and down, lights dim when it goes down, and when the guage goes down, it feels like it misses, or "bumps" a lil. It will go up and down witin split seconds, stario off or on. IDK what it does at 5000 with this situation tho. Shouldnt be plugs...i changed them like uhh, 3 days ago now.
