looking for information about using a 99 camaro z28 gastank in my 97 SS. will my pump fall right into place in the plastic gastank? and with it bolt right in with the 5 bolts like my tank has?

is it the same size tank?

has anyone swapped out their metal tank for a plastic one?

The LT1 metal tank is 15.5 GAL. The 99 plastic tank is 16.8 GAL.

 

yeah, i was aware of that, just didnt know if the pump hook ups and connectors were all the same. i went and got another 97 tank, so i really dont need to worry about it now.
