fuel pump question (general)
recently i have been spouting off if you have the time and/or money, to drop the tank and while it is out cut the trap door
1) less headache worrying about cutting lines if you cut too deep.
2)as 2000gtp pointed out before, aftermarket fuel pump manufacturers recommend flushing the tank prior to new pump install to limit the possibility of any problems from junk in the tank. so now you'd have a clean tank, new pump installed and a access door should you have any need to upgrade or replace the pump again.
