fuel pump help lt1

I have a 96 lt1 m6 and my fuel pump doesn't seem to hold the presure and I'm on a mission to get a new I was thinking a 255 but don't know of a good reliable one .....I also just installed n2o and was told since the presure goes down its gonna be a nightmare with n2o....

When does the pressure drop? When you prime it, and then shut the key off? That could be due to the check valve in the pump being faulty, faulty fuel pressure regulator, or leaking injectors. If it loses pressure as engine load increases, could be a faulty fuel pump or a dirty fuel filter.

Do you have specific pressure numbers that you can post?

I think its from 24 to 18 and it happens on I hammer it on second first gear is good I already did the oil plugs and wires and now the presure doesn't seem told hold
