Fuel Pressure gauge in AC vent
Fuel Pressure gauge in AC vent
Ok, I have been looking through Autometer.com for the last hour trying to figure out what electronic gauge will work with a sender in my engine bay. Anyone already done this? I like your setup Injuneer and I am having fuel issues I think, so no better way to do it than put the gauge in!!
Thanks in advance.

Any of the 0-100 will work. You will have two issues: The sending unit is 1/8" and the fitting on the fuel rail is 1/4" (or -4AN); the AC vent hole is 2 5/8".
You'll need an adapter for the fuel rail, and if you select one of their 2 1/16" gauges you will need an adapter for the AC vent.
Some also recommend placing the sending unit away from the engine so it doesn't heat soak, which would require a fuel line.

I couldn't find a wideband gauge to fit and I had one of the Innovate gauges which I put inside a Autometer 2 5/8" cup to match the others - fuel and boost/vac. It was a minor pain in the *** but it came out well and all three match pretty closely, but not perfectly. I'd post a pic but I deleted my photobucket account because they got so obnoxious with their ads.
Mine is so old.... maybe 12 years or so.... that I think they have changed the sending unit/electronic module and part numbers. And I moved the sensor to an 1/8" bung on the fuel rails, so there's not much in the way of a parts list to provide you. Before the gauge was connected to the bung, I had an NOS -4AN 90* swivel fitting on the stock Schrader valve, a short -4AN x 1/8" NPT braided hose to a 1/8" NPT brass "tee", and the sending unit was mounted in the tee, behind the PCM.
Moving the sensor directly on the rail has not presented any problems, and its been there for 10 years.
