had to drive it some to make it get worse then the codes appeared...

5 of them, consisting of low res pulse failure, high pulse fail, est ground circuit failire ect

basically opti....it does this after the car idles a few minutes at a stop, after the car is already warm... so im poretty sure its heat related..

question, does anyone know what part is getting hot and failing? is it the optical sensor or what?

ive got another opti sitting right here that idles and drives perfect, but we thought was causing a high rpm studdar (bucks the car back and forth at 4500+) can i remove parts from one a fix the other? or even clean the one i have?

i hate this, its the FIRST opti problem ive ever had besides breaking rotors!
