Just bought my first camaro (or fast car period) ss red with 115k stage 2 center force clutch, dynomax exhaust, 4:11 gears new struts and brakes. The only problem is my gas guage doesnt work when I fill it up? What are some of the causes of this, and how much it costs to fix???

This url is for a '95, http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#fuel_gauge you did not provide you year info, but they s/b similar.. is you gauge stuck in one position or does it only work in a certain range.. you have to either drop the tank or cut a trapdoor to get access to the sender. Ya can crawl under it with a meter to verify if it's the gauge, wiring or sender using this procedure. Never had a tank dropped, most people here cut the trapdoor, but probably somewhere in the hundreds, guessing about 2-3 hours in the service book at $XXX/per hour.
