EVAP delete questions

I pulled the EVAP canister off the car today.

What do i need to do with the line coming off the tank too the EVAP canister? Does it need to be capped off, if so.. Does the fuel tank need to be vented??

What do i need to do with the sensor at the motor that the EVAP line goes into on the passenger side?? Can i delete it all together?

Fuel tank must be vented, the cap is "unvented". When I removed the canister, I left the hose in place in the rear fender, and put a piece of fabric over the end, to keep anything fromn crawling in it, but to allow air to flow in or out.... in effect, a coarse filter. You may notice a strong fuel smell at the rear of the car.

Its not a "sensor". Its the EVAP purge solenoid. You can remove it, but you will get a code for the electrical circuit not being complete. When you pull off the solenoid, measure the resistance, and put a similar value resistor in the end of the solenoid harness connector. Or have the code "programmed out" of your PCM.
