Nevermind the cruddy fingers!

I guess the corrosion is from setting for two years with no fuel around it? I also noticed some broken wires at the bolt hole location, but it seems like the bolt would "make" the connection there.

I have no clue how this thing works. That's why I'm asking you guys!

I just took it apart to clean the left side of it(contact area) and the other part that rubs up against it(float).

 

Nevermind... it works now.
