Dash light problem

Dash light problem

my lights keep going out, i checked the fuse and the fuse was fine.

Is there a way to run another power source to it, cuz its a pain in the *** driving at night cant see how fast im going etc.

On a '93 Fuse 10 (20A) -to- Headlight switch (exterior lites and headlights, assume they work) brown wire from HL switch goes to Dimmer Switch - drk/grn wire from dimmer goes to fuse 13 (5A) dimmer fuse - gray wire from fuse goes to instrument cluster... You may have a bad dimmer switch or fuse 13 circuit..

as far as i know the dimmer switch is fine, is there anyway of checking/testing it?

Put a volt meter on Dimmer Switch drk/grn wire it should vary from +12v to 0V with lites on as you move the dial from full brightness to off..

im not sure if this applies to anything but when i turn the switch all the way up the dome lights come on so its still operating, could i still have a bad switch?
