Question Bad FPR?

1996 Firebird Formula here.

Fuel is appearing on the outside somehow. It doesn't spit fuel with the vac line disconnected. Could it be just the O-rings or is the whole unit bad?

Other symptoms include stumbling on the highway and an intermittent low idle. Car dies at stoplights sometimes.

Re: Bad FPR?

Is the fuel seeping from the crimped seam where the two halves are joined - hard to tell from the picture?

Re: Bad FPR?

I honestly can't confirm that 100%. I don't detect any fuel anywhere else so that was my first assumption.

Re: Bad FPR?

I pulled the fuel rail and ran the fuel pump and (lots of) fuel did in fact run out of the crimped seam.

I replaced the fpr and all is well now.
