Probably just fine for a replacement stock pump. Make sure you put in a new fuel filter.

have you had any experience with this brand of fuel pump, the company says they were made in usa till a year or 2 ago when they moved production to mexico. which i would choose mexico over china any day.

Not exactly. Unfortunately A LOT of the aftermarket stuff today is only made by a handful of people (Chinese) today. Look at my 2nd pic. I just did my water pump Friday. See my new ‘AC Delco’ WP? Opened up the box and made where? Yep you guessed it........CHINA!

An even bigger problem is the huge number of parts that are being counterfeited in China. Look exactly like the real thing, labels and all. But the components and assembly are crap. Fuel pumps, like the Walbro stuff, is heavily counterfeited. You need to buy from a reputable retailer.

If a US company opts to produce in China or some 3rd-world country, hopefully they put quality control measures in place, so the Chinese copies at least perform close to the US made originals.
